Can video games make kids more violent? A new study employing state-of-the-art
brain-scanning technology says that the answer may be yes.
Researchers at the Indiana University School of Medicine say that brain scans of kids who played a violent video game showed an increase in emotional arousal – and a corresponding decrease of activity in brain areas involved in self-control, inhibition and attention.
i think that it is stupid becase it is the people who choose to be violent because of the game

I think it is correct that teens playing violent games might make them aggressive because as it was said earlier that brain scans of a kid while playing games and it might make teens aggressive. Parents should take care of their teens by making them understand the consequences of playing these games through a professional counselor. Parents need to participate in teens discussion boards to gain more knowledge on various teens issues with suggesting your answers for other parents.

I've always been a very passive person and I've always been playing violent video games. I guess that it does not affect everyone in the same way.
The results of this study should lead to another question: does playing violent sports, or having a stressful job make people aggressive?

That's why I would suggest parents like me should be aware of what activities their kids are doing online. Make sure that they won't play anything too violent or harsh and warn them beforehand that you'll deal with them if they do otherwise. It's best to set the limits firsthand, so that the kids wouldn't think twice but not play those types of games.

A game is just a game. It's just for the parents to keep a good communication with their children and know when they are angry and why. A good conversation and time spent together helps your kid come down more than anything else. The real anger, the one who leads to violence comes from a lack of understanding. No teen can be lost enought to confuse a game with reality
