About Me

I'm a registered nurse with over 33 years of both staff & agency clinical nursing experience including: ICU, CCU, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU, Burn Unit, Open Heart Recovery Room, and Med-Surg, followed by about 10 years in Home Health Care.
In my forties, I decided to change direction and took (on-going) ABA approved paralegal courses, followed by forensics, fraud and Medico-legal Death Investigation training.
I am a state certified Forensic Nurse Examiner with basic, intermediate and advanced forensic nursing training.
I'm currently a new investigator for our state Medical Board and also still practice, part-time, as a certified Forensic Nurse Examiner .
In my position as an FNE, our cases consisted of sexual assault complainants.
Very soon, however, our practice will also include domestic violence cases, then progress to elder abuse, shootings, stabbings, and homicide cases.
